WATERPROOFING FAQ'S

Normally, our installation crews can complete the job in 1 to 3 days. We aim for 1 day so that we do not inconvenience the homeowner. We perform routine background checks on our employees for the safety of our customers. All our Installation Technicians are thoroughly trained and we “over-man” our crews on purpose. We also welcome the homeowner to go to work during the course of the day. Our employees are honest and capable; the homeowner can be rest assured the job will be done properly while you are at work. There is no need for you to take time off from work. However, we stay until the job is complete. Whatever the time it takes, the job is done to complete customer satisfaction.

There are lots of reasons to waterproof your basement. For one it raises the value of the home. Protects your home and people living in there. Usually not, this is called damp-proofing and this type of work is performed upon new construction and tends to crack over time. It also does not address the pressure buildup. Sodium bentonite is not a permanent or reliable form of basement waterproofing. There are several companies during the 70s that were run out of business due to quick sales and promises about this product. We do not and will not use sodium bentonite for it simply will not work permanently.

Exterior shallow drain systems are commonly used for run off problems. These systems can silt and clog, although we sometimes install them at our customer’s requests. We do not guarantee these exterior types of systems. The best form of basement waterproofing permanently is an interior system with a lifetime of structure warranty.

Yes, we have a “Finish White”” system to install around the perimeter of the basement that ties into our sub floor system. This in conjunction with one of our dehumidifiers. This will usually solve any damp wall issues.

We will work with your builder before they install the basement floor; so that, we may install our system before the floor is poured.
